It's an Adobe User's Group made up of really great people. This presentation came about by asking the members what kinds of topics they wanted to see at upcoming meetings. Having the gift of gab, a resume since I was 14, and having attended several courses on the topic, I volunteered to take a stab at a topic that we all should learn more about. Please forgive the recording quality since it was made on my old Sony Ericsson w810i. I attempted to clean it up using GarageBand, but it is what it is. This is by no means intended to be a comprehensive course on the writing of resumes, but an attempt to share some of the tips others with far more knowledge and experience have offered. Some of the topics covered include: Format and how long the average resume should be, what kind of language should be used in describing yourself, and strategies on assembling enough information to be able to quickly tailor a resume for different kinds of jobs. In addition electronic and printed resume preparation are covered.AAMUG meets on the second thursday of the month at 6:30pm.
